The American White Moth

We got a notice in our mail boxes. The notice, in Chinese and English, stated that on September 30th the city would be spraying an insecticide to prevent infestation of the American White Moth, which, if allowed to, would eat every speck of greenery in sight. Of course the American community here was alarmed and immediately began to research the chemical. It turns out that it's highly toxic to animals and humans and American toxicologists advise that children and pets be kept away from treated areas for 3 days after treatment. As luck would have it, these three days coincide with a week long school holiday. So, all the children are home and cannot go outside to play. Suffice it to say that 3 little boys are getting a bit of cabin fever!
